Bleeding gums
How to treat them:
- For infection, a treatment prescribed by the dentist.
- Deficiency of vitamins, proper diet or supplements vitamin.
- Bleeding gums and ulcerated may be aggravated by the consumption of snuff.
- Poorly fitting dentures cause “pain points.” If your gums do bleed, must be adjusted by the dentist.
- Avoid using aspirin, unless it has been prescribed by a physician for a specific reason.
- You can control the bleeding gums applying pressure with a moistened gauze ice directly on the gums water.
- Remove snacks between meals and reduce carbohydrate intake to help prevent plaque buildup on teeth.
- Visit the dentist at least every six months to remove plaque.
- Brushing gently (with a soft bristle brush) after each meal.
- Avoid commercial mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which aggravate the problem.
- Use dental floss twice a day to prevent plaque formation.
